This marker stone has been erected close to the summit of Clò Mòr (195m OD), a cliff-top eminence that overlooks Kearvaig Bay to the W and the Atlantic Ocean immediately to the N. The stone is a slab, measuring 0.6m from E to W by 0.2m transversely and 0.7m in height, which has been wedged into a natural crevice in the bedrock.
