NLO: Soay [name: NG 44 12]
Skye [name centred NG 45 35].
(Classified as Schooner: no cargo specified, but date cited as 31 October 1833). Unknown: wreckage on Soay and the West side of Skye.
(Location cited as N57 10.0 W6 20.0).
I G Whittaker 1998.
The map sheet assigned to this record is essentially arbitrary. The extensive island of Soay lies to the SW of Skye, between Skye and Rhum (Rum).
The date and location cited by Whittaker are apparently those of the recorded discovery of wreckage. The vessel presumably foundered offshore.
Information from RCAHMS (RJCM), 20 August 2008.
