This cairn is situated on the NW flank of Beinn an Duibh, a rocky massif on the W side of the Kyle of Durness which comprises a series of knolls and ridges interspersed with wet, peaty ground. It consists of little more than a moss-grown, heap of stones and small boulders standing 0.5m in height.
