An area of about 364 hectares in use as a Royal Navy Depot, many underground structures. Built to provide support to the Royal Navy Trident submarine fleet and subsequently the Vanguard class submarines.

Construction on the depot began in September 1985 at the same time as the modernisation of Northern area of Faslane.
