Previously identified as two air raid shelters, this was a Gun Operations Room controlling the gun defended area (Anti Aircraft defences) around Edinburgh and Rosyth during the Second World War. It comprised a large square mound with sloping earth sides enclosing a semi sunken building c15m square with two entrances on the N side.
