Archaeology Notes

NM47NW 78 42644 79068

There are two small pens in a vertical-sided gully extending into the broad terrace to the SE of Port Mor from the High Water Mark to the N of Rubh' a' Chroisein. The larger pen (Muck02 61) lies at the S end of the gully and measures 1.1m across internally. Both pens have been built against rock outcrops. A short length of stony bank cuts across the gully to the S of the N pen.
