About 300m ENE of Tir Artair there are the fragmentary remains of a drystone wall around a felled plantation. The plantation, measuring about 120m from ENE to WSW by 33m transversely, is depicted on the first edition of the OS 6-inch map (Perthshire 1867, sheet lxviii).
