Track across bay on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross and Cromarty, sheet lv; 1881) - track seen on north shore.
Trackway across Nigg Bay on the lists and supposedly marked by posts at each end. No posts were visible and the Northwest end was also almost invisible. The Southeast end (Nigg) has about 150m of straight track on th exact alignment the track should be, from the road to the end of the salt marsh.
