A modern cairn has been constructed on the N side of the improved A82 road and S side of the River Coe at a point opposite a car park Stob Coire Raineach.

The cairn is dome shaped.

Activities

Field Visit (1996)

This so-called coffin cairn was reconstructed in 1993 by volunteers working for the NTS. It is now c2.4m high and c3m in diameter. Mid 19thc potsherds were found during the reconstruction work - presumably associated with (GLCOE036).
