Aerial Photographic Transcription (6 December 1988)

An aerial transcription was produced from oblique aerial photographs. Information from Historic Environment Scotland (BM) 31 March 2017.

Aerial Photographic Interpretation (8 December 1992)

NO14SE 37 1676 4284

The cropmark of a penannular ring-ditch has been recorded by air photography in an arable field about 105m S of Whiteloch farmhouse; it measures about 7m in diameter and has a well-defined entrance on the SW.

Penannular ring-ditches of this type are not common in SE Perth, and the remains bear a superficial resemblance to the small henge that was discovered by excavation, stratified beneath the stone circle at Moncreiffe House, Strathearn (NO11NW 11).

Information from RCAHMS (JRS) 8 December 1992.
