NG51NW 78 5307 1678

NG 5307 1678 An oval turf cell, with a stone lining, which measures 4.50m by 4.0m over walls 1.0m thick. A collapsed entrance lies in the east end.

NG 5315 1675 A loose group of 8 shielings consisting of:

2, circular, 4.00m diameter stone cells.

5, circular, 4.00m diameter turf cells. All very difficult to see.

1, figure of '8' twin cell, measuring 3.00m diameter each cell, on the edge of the burn.

A stone boundary dyke runs down the south side of the burn.

NG 5300 1652 a dispersed group of very poorly preserved figure of '8' shielings ? consisting of both stone and turf examples.
