Field Visit (April 1987)

NO14NW 50 1305 4817

Situated 250m N of the Buzzart Dikes (NO14NW 2) and immediately NNW of the corner of a modern field-wall there are the remains of what may be a large building. It measures 36.6m from ESE to WNW by 8.7m transversely over a stony bank 1.9m thick and 0.4m high; there are two possible entrances in the SSW side, and on the NNE side and at either end there are external drainage gullies. Immediately to the W and about 40m to the E there are traces of rig-and-furrow cultivation.

Visited by RCAHMS (PC), April 1987.

RCAHMS 1990.
