This wooded rocky knoll, 200m N of the A827 road, and measuring 260m from NE to SW by 50m transversely, has been enclosed by a drystone dyke, now ruined. The dyke is shown on the first edition of the OS 6-inch map (Perthshire 1867, sheet LXVIII).
