Inchbervis Castle, the remains of an old castle or round tower, of which nothing appears to be known, except a tradition that it was at one time a religious house in connection with the Abbey of Dunfermline.

One storey was all that was standing about 1864.
Name Book 1864
The remains of a D-shaped fortified building, now of two storeys with a vaulted roof, standing over 5.0m high with walls 2.7m thick in places. The building stands on a triangular platform mound protected on the North and north-east by the steep natural slopes of the River Tay, and on the west by a rampart and ditch, 1.0m high and 1.7m deep respectively. On the south side only the spread of the castle mound survives. The castle was reputedly visited by Wallace (SDD List).
There is a well-preserved draw-well at NO 1227 3292.
