Archaeology Notes

NB21NW 27 NB 2458 1668

NB 2458 1668 Two annular settings of rounded stones, c 30cm, with an internal diameter of c 2.5m and c 0.5m high. The eastern one may have an entrance. They are c 20m apart and are located just above high tide level on a low rise on a stony shore. Tide heights here are limited by the narrows at the falls of Loch Seaforth, and therefore may be the same in prehistoric times.
