What appear to be the remains of a building reduced to grass-grown footings are situated in a field of rough pasture 300m SSW of Balliefurth farmsteading. Only the S end of the building is visible, measuring 4.4m in length by 4.9m in width overall, the northern part having lain in what is now a cultivated field.
