Archaeology Notes

NJ01NE 32 NJ 0947 1710 (centre).

An area of poorly-defined rig-and-furrow cultivation is visible in heather moorland 220m SE of Fae (NJ01NE 47). Most of the rig, which measures up to 3m in breadth, is aligned NW and SE, but at the SW end it is aligned NE and SW. Within the area of the rig there are a number of cairns measuring up to 5m in diameter.

Visited by RCAHMS (JRS) 9 August 2006.
