Archaeology Notes (1977)

No further information was found regarding the findspots of these stone balls. They are in Perth Museum; their old accession numbers are 1290 (proposed new number is 90) and 1290B.

NO12NW 18 15 26 to 13 26.

There are two stone balls, each ball bearing four carved discs, in the Museum of the Literary and Antiquarian Soiety of Perth (now incorporated in Perth Museum.) They were found in the fields between Murrayshall (NO 1526) and New Scone, (NO 1326) and were presented to the Society by John Murray of Murrayshall, in 1832.
