This mid-19thc courtyard farmstead has a farmhouse in the centre of the NW side. The barn, of one-and-a-half storeys, is along the SW side. There is a single-storeyed byre along the SE and stables are on the NE side. The entrance to the yard is in the NE corner. The farmstead is built of sandstone rubble with slate roofs.
