Bellsgrove Lodge, c.1850; altered 1880-1903 House with an unusually wide span built by the Strontian Mining Company for the mine manager, John Barratt. After 1856, when the company ceased, it reverted to the estate and became a shooting lodge. This was where Sir Humphrey Davey worked on his safety lamp and mineralisation.
