Archaeology Notes

NG53NE 150 5599 3517 (centred)

A very ruinous oval structure built against an old boundary dyke was recorded here during a field survey of the Suisnish area of Raasay by ACFA, who have conducted surveys on the island every year since 1995. It measures 7m x 4.5m and there may have been an entrance in the SE wall. A low turf bank arcs round from the SE end.
