This site was recorded during archaeological fieldwork and a desktop survey ahead of a proposed water mains renewal programme in the area. A well is marked on the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps (1870s and 1906), at the edge of a dyke. It is marked as a spring on the latest OS map. A well was not located during a site visit.
