The EMMA HEYN, from Liverpool to Danzig [Gdansk, Poland], with salt, ashore at the Island of Muck, had been put aground there in a sinking state, having struck on a sunken rock off Canna, yesterday, when she unshipped her rudder, and seriously damaged her bottom: she is lying on a dangerous point.

Tobermory, 16th Sept. The EMMA HEYN, form Liverpool to Danzig [Gdansk, Poland], which was stranded on the Island of Muck 29th May last, was got off and towed in here 13th Sept.

The map sheet assigned to this record is arbitrary.

The loss of this vessel is not cited by I G Whittaker (1998), presumably on account of her successful recovery.
