A large area of rig and a system of field banks has been recorded on oblique aerial photography (RCAHMSAP 1999) lying to the E of Bar Lagan fort (NR98SW 3). The field banks lie to the E, S and SW of the fort and are depicted on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1978).
