Archaeology Notes

NT37SW 1142 343 728

An archaeological evaluation was carried out in July 2004 in advance of the demolition of an existing house and the building of flats and car parking facilities. The trenches covered a total area of c 80m2. A single modern feature was uncovered, consisting of an area of small stones retained within a boundary formed from large boulders. Nothing of archaeological significance was detected.
