Isleornsey [Ornsay], 24th Oct. 'The INDUSTRY, Boag, from Sligo to London, was abandoned 15th inst., during a gale off this place, her cargo having shifted, and being on her beam ends. She drifted on Rosay [Eilean Rarsaidh], in Lochuirn [Loch Hourn], and sunk near the shore.'

(No classification or cargo specified: date of loss cited as 15 October 1832). Industry: this vessel was abandoned, and drifted ashore on Rosay [Eilean Rarsaidh] in Lochuirn [Loch Hourn], and sank near the shore. [Capt] Boag.

(Location of loss cited as N57 15.0 W5 30.0).

The location assigned to this record is essentially tentative, and is that of the final stranding of the vessel, rather than that of her abandonment.
