A deserted settlement was recorded here as part of a desktop survey for the Resolis Water Main Renewal Project (NH 536 070 - centred). Only one building (roofed) is marked on the 1st edition map of 1880 and the 2nd of 1907. It is marked as unroofed on the 1992 OS 1:10,000 map. A ruined building can be seen on aerial photography from the RAF of 1946.
