A series of anti-landing ditches on Earlsferry Links have been identified from RAF vertical air photographs (106G/Scot/UK 4, Pt. II 6061-6063, flown 14 April 1946).
All consist of short lengths of trench with rows of pits each side breaking up the flat ground in this area.
