Bowmore, Islay, 28th Feb., 8.15 a.m., the WALTER JOHNSTON (schr.), of Bangor, Wales, Thomas, bound to Peterhead, was totally wrecked, 23rd Feb., at Port Ellen, in the island: crew saved.

Bowmore, Islay, 3rd Mar., part of the cargo (slates) of the WALTER JOHNSTON (schr.), of Bangor, Thomas, bound to Peterhead, which was wrecked, 23rd Feb., at Port Ellen, will be saved: the vessel has completely broken up.
