NN91NE 1 984 189.

(NN 984 189) The base of a large crucible for melting bronze was found in a drain at Gask. Presented to the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland (NMAS) by the finder, A McG. Clark, The Bungalow, Fyfe Park, Port Glasgow.

Proc Soc Antiq Scot 1954.

The base of this cruicible was found near a culvert, in a drain, on the north side of the road at Gask. It is still in the NMAS (Accession no. HR 1070).

Visited by OS (R D) 21 August 1967.
