Wick [name: ND 362 508].

3 August 1876, RELIANCE, 1 yr old, of Wick, wooden lugger, 18 tons, 7 crew, Master and Owner J. Douglas, of Wick, departed Wick for fishing, in ballast, 1 life lost (master), partial loss, wind S. by E.6, stranded, near the entrance of Wick Harbour.

The location assigned to this record is essentially tentative. Wick Harbour (ND35SE 66.00) is centred at ND 36820 50670.

The loss of this vessel is not cited by I G Whittaker (1998). She was possibly successfully recovered.
