26 November 1874, KENSINGTON, 14 yrs old, of Whitehaven, wooden brigantine, 152 tons, 7 crew, Master W. R. Davis, Owner D. Borrodale, departed Skelleftea for Whitehaven, carrying wood, wind SW5, stranded, S. side of Kyleakin Sound.

The loss of this vessel is not cited by I G Whittaker (1998), suggesting that she was refloated.
