(A: NN 7926 4668 B: NN 7926 4670) Standing Stones (NR)

OS 6" map (1901)

A pair of standing stones 53'3" apart and facing each other, with their broad axis E-W. 'A' is 4'8" high x 3'11" x 3'2"; 'B' is 4'10" high x 4'8" x 1'5". The inner faces of both stones have been worked smooth. Possibly the remains of a circle, but no other stones visible. (Mrs Stewart's grid reference - NN 801 477 - is suspect).
