MS/3025, no. 791.

(Classified as packet [no rig cited]: no cargo specified, but date of loss cited as 11 November 1895). Secret: this vessel was driven ashore at Mails Ayre and wrecked. Registration: Sandwick.

(Location of loss cited aas N60 2.0 W1 13.5).

I G Whittaker 1998.

The location assigned to this record is essentially tentative. Mails Ayre is not noted as such on any of the available maps. Ridley lists the wreck among those 'off Cunningsburgh District, South Mainland' and among others on the E side of the islands: a location on the North Sea coast appears probable.

Larn and Larn also locate the loss at Aiths Voe [Aith Voe].
