A jade axe from the River Spean, Fort William, is now in the West Highland Museum. It is smooth, but not highly polished, thin, of lenticular section with side-edges blunted, and 18.5cm long.

This axe was found by the River Spean in 1890 and was given to the museum by the late Major Davy, Spean Bridge. It is on display in the museum, but there is no accession number.
