There is a group of platforms on the sloping hillside approximately 2km N of Creggans Hotel. They extend over an area 1.5km by 1km and from loch level to about the 166m contour; 28 platforms have been recorded, but part of the area has still to be investigated. The platforms range from 6m to 10m in diameter. They are mostly turf built; the front lips and back banks are up to 1.5m in height.
