(NM 90184082) Cairn (NR)

This cairn, which stands on a low ridge in an arable field, is heavily overgrown with scrub. It measures at least 23 metres in diameter and stands to a maximum height of 1.8 metres. A considerable quantity of stones has been removed from the top, but the amount of cairn material that survives suggests that the lower levels remain relatively undisturbed.

RCAHMS 1975.

As described. There is no sign of a kerb.

Surveyed at 1:2500 scale

Visited by OS (RD) 4 November 1971.
