OS 1:10,000 map, (1975)

A small cairn stands on a slight rise, close to the shore and opposite the island of Eilean nan Gamhna. It is a grass-covered mound of stones and earth, measuring about 9 metres in diameter and 0.6 metres in height.

RCAHMS 1975, visited April 1970.

As described. Around the base is a distinctive band of bracken which may possibly indicate a ditch.

Surveyed at 1:10 000 scale.

Visited by OS (D W R) 7 September 1971.
