Osborne notes that the building at 2 Charlotte Street was in use in 1914 as the HQ of Highland Division.

The OS 1st edition map 6-inch map (Perthshire) shows the building to be a post office. By the 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map (Perthshire) the building is now a bank.
