Field Visit (27 July 2010)

This clapper bridge is in a poor state of repair. The flag stone deck of the bridge is some 6.5 m in length and 3.5 m in width. The N side of the deck has collapsed where it rests on the cutwaters. The NW end of the deck has also collapsed with the stone from this is lying in the N channel at the W end. The cutwaters are intact. The waterlevel to the deck on the date of visit was c. 1.25m.
