Archaeology Notes

NT18SE 30.04 1754 8431

A small radio beacon has been identified from a RAF post-war vertical air photograph (106G/UK/983, 4343, flown 8 November 2002), situated to the W of Temple Plantation. Set within a fenced enclosure the mast stands approximately 6m high with a cable trench leading NW. The beacon is probably connected with Donibristle Airfield.

Information from RCAHMS (DE), September 2002
