NT18SE 45 centred 1785 8408

A decoy or dummy heavy anti-aircraft battery has been identified from a RAF post-war vertical air photograph, (106G/UK/983, 4343, flown 8 November 1945) in a field to the S of Tattie Knoll. Visible are four dummy emplacements, command centre and what be dummy machine gun positions, all set within a fenced enclosure. To the N are several huts.
