A group of huts with a tall structure has been identified from a post-war RAF vertical air photograph (CPE/Scot/UK 261, 3221, flown 13 August 1947. The Defence of Britain Project recording form states that this is a 'coastal battery'.

Several concrete platforms one of which has two holdfasts on it with the remains of other structures, possibly for Unrotating Projectile (UP) installations.
