Summary Record (13 February 2012)

The first purpose clubhouse was a small wooden structure, which replaced the earlier re-used railway carriage. The earliest part of the present clubhouse was built 1885-6 by Henry Edward Clifford. Minor additions of dressing rooms, 1897, with the much larger addition of the extension housing the smoke room and dining rooms added in 1905; minor later alterations included the porch during the 1920's and latterly the extended 1970's Ailsa room, front entrance and shop in 2006. The clubhouse remains mostly single storey, with some upper attic rooms.
