A barrage balloon mooring site has been identified from post-war RAF vertical air photographs (106G/Scot/UK 10, 7035-6, flown 15 April 1946) in what was open ground to the N of Ferry Toll Road. The site has subsequently been destroyed by the construction of a housing scheme.
