Archaeology Notes

NJ90NW 85 9430 0639.

During the excavation of 2-28 Queen Street in 1973, a total of 36 pieces of flint of Late Mesolithic date were recovered from the street frontage and the midden area. These include cores, two scrapers, an angle burin and waste flakes, all of which are now in Aberdeen Art Gallery and Museum.
