Photographic survey of buildings in Wigtown by the Scottish National Buildings Record in 1962.

Publication Account (2014)

The now-demolished Red Lion Inn (formerly the town house of the Dunbars of Baldoon) had wallthicknesses implying a date of the late fifteenth or early sixteenth century, as recorded during alteration in 1936 (see fig 14).
