NJ90NW 215 c. 94 06

There are four flint arrowheads from Aberdeen in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford:

(i) barbed-and-tanged, of buff flint (1927.6044j);

(ii) barbed-and-tanged, of pinkish flint (1927.6044k);

(iii) hollow-based, of buff flint (1927.6044p);

(iv) lozenge-shaped, of brown flint (1927.6045m).

Another barbed-and-tanged flint arrowhead is in the Cambridge University Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology (.32790).

(Classified as Flint Arrowheads: Barbed-And-Tanged (2); Hollow-Based; Lozenge-Shaped). These arrowheads are still in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford (letter from Mrs J Clements, Dept of Antiquities to J R Sherriff, 25 February, 1997).
