Archaeology Notes

NJ70SE 103 7900 0223

This hut-circle is situated in rough pasture on a low spur projecting from a SW-facing slope about 300m E of Little Eddieston farmsteading (NJ70SE 35.00). Roughly oval on plan, the hut-circle measures about 9.2m from NE to SW by 8.4m transversely within a boulder-faced wall up to 1.2m in thickness and 0.3m in height. The entrance, which is about 1.4m in width, is on the S.
