NJ 743 644. Ring ditch at Mains of Melrose, revealed by aerial reconnaissance.

Aberdeen Archaeological Surveys 1977; Information from Grampian Region.

(Location cited as NJ 7430 6440: nominated as Site of Regional Importance). Air photography (AAS/77/11/SR/22-7, flown 17 August 1977) has recorded the cropmark of a pennanular ring-ditch on a ridge at an altitude of 73m OD.
